Below is a brief outline of the history of Henrys Cars. Please click on a thumbnail for a larger image.

1927

The business was established in 1927 at the original Maxwell Road site.

1979

Then in 1979, the business was bought by Alex Henry.

1980

In 1980, Henrys acquired the Honda franchise in Glasgow.

1991

Due to rapid expansion of the business, in 1991 a separate PDI (pre-delivery inspection) centre was purchased.

1998

In 1998, with an investment of £2.2 million, a purpose built Honda site was opened on Titwood Road, Glasgow.

1998

In the same year, Henrys was awarded the Skoda franchise at the Maxwell Road site.

2007

In 2007, Henrys added a second Skoda franchise at Kyle Street in Glasgow.

2008

In 2008, Henrys closed their Skoda site at Maxwell Road and moved all of their Skoda operations to Kyle Street making it the Number 1 Skoda dealership in the UK

2009

In 2009, Henrys completely revamped their existing PDI centre into a used car site, Henrys Trade Car Centre. This Centre offers trade car prices direct to the public!
