With considerable care, Henrys began the process of re-opening on Monday 11th May with reduced workshop capacity and telephone/on-line sales only. During this period all visits to Henrys will be by timed appointment only.

The wellbeing of all our customers and employees remains our top priority and we have therefore implemented a number of measures to hopefully reassure everyone that we are making our dealerships as safe as possible.

Over the initial period of our re-opening we will be prioritising customers’ needs and we appreciate your patience and understanding when booking your appointment and visiting our dealerships.

Initially our Sales showrooms will remain closed, however we will be able to offer alternative ways to select and purchase your next vehicle either through online or through telephone appointments. We will offer a range of purchase options through Personal Contract Purchase (PCP), Hire Purchase or Bank Transfer. If you live in a 30-mile radius of one of our dealerships we will provide free home delivery of your new or used car.

To further ensure your and our employees’ safety we have redesigned our service reception and showroom areas to allow for social distancing and to accommodate safe waiting areas. We will provide hand sanitisation stations and install protective safety screens and safe distancing signage.

On the day of your visit you can expect all appropriate safety measures to protect you and ensure your vehicle is returned to you fully sanitised.

We would appreciate your help in preventing any potential spread of the Coronavirus, by not visiting our dealerships if you or anyone in your household has a high temperature or a continuous cough.

Until we can re-open fully, colleagues remain on hand to assist with your enquiries via telephone and email.

As you know we are now faced with new challenges surrounding COVID-19 and as a result we would like to make you aware of the following.
When you enter the showroom please be aware that as a result of current guidelines our showroom is closed except for access to our aftersales facility.
When you enter the showroom to respect our hygiene policy please use the hand sanitiser.  The floor directional system allows for customers to queue by waiting at the designated 2-meter markers, when directed please make your way to the service desks. 
Please feel free to use our customer waiting facility but please always follow the floor directions.
Here are some of the general hygiene rules we have communicated with our staff.  Keeping your distance, greetings without a handshake, cough or sneeze into the inside of your elbow, regular hand cleaning and avoid touching your face.

Home Delivery
We are now offering Home Delivery within 30 miles of the dealership.
We want to assure you that specific measures have been put in place to deliver your vehicle in accordance with applicable social distancing and resulting from the COVID19 pandemic, for the protection of you and our employees. In particular:

  • Our employees will wear personal protection
  • Your vehicle will have protective covers and will be sanitised before handover

We ask you to respect the following:

  • If you or anyone in your household has or has had within the last 14 days displayed symptoms, or you or anyone in your household is self – isolating or is within a vulnerable group identified by the NHS or if home delivery is otherwise not possible to perform in the context of governmental guidance, we ask you to cancel your appointment.
  • Apply our physical barrier rules (no physical contact, distance of at least 2-metres with our employees, using phone or video communication where possible)
  • Please remove all of your personal belongings from your part exchange and ensure it is free from any physical contact for at least 3 hours prior to your handover.

On delivery day:

  • We will call on the number you’ve provided upon arrival at your address to determine where you would like your new car parked
  • Please ensure there is a parking space for your new vehicle that can be easily accessed as it will need to be stationary and untouched for 3 hours.
  • Your part exchange needs to be parked in an accessible position
  • Our employee will be wearing personal protective equipment
  • Your document pack and keys will be provided in a clean plastic wallet, which can be posted through your letterbox if you require a “no contact” handover of your vehicle
  • We will maintain a 2-metre distance at all times
  • A shortened explanation of features and controls will take place, again, maintaining a 2-metre distance. This can be carried out remotely if you require a “no contact” handover
